Terms of Service — Practitioners

Last updated: 9 September 2026

These terms apply to Aesthet Ltd (“the Platform”) and any registered practitioner or clinic listing services on it (“the Practitioner”). By creating a practitioner or clinic account, the Practitioner agrees to these terms.

The Practitioner must hold valid professional indemnity insurance at all times, which the Platform verifies before the Practitioner's listing goes live. If the Practitioner offers Botox, Thread Lifts, PRP Therapy, CoolSculpting, or Fat Dissolving, the Practitioner must additionally hold current registration with an appropriate regulatory body (GMC, NMC, GDC, GPhC, or HCPC) and provide evidence of this. Any Save Face or JCCP accreditation listed by the Practitioner is subject to the Platform's separate approval before it displays publicly, and the Platform may revoke that approval at any time if it can no longer verify it.

The Practitioner is responsible for the accuracy of everything on their profile, including their qualifications, services, prices, and availability. Misrepresenting qualifications or insurance status is grounds for immediate suspension. The Platform is not responsible or liable for any misrepresentation by a Practitioner on their profile.

The Platform charges 8% of each completed booking (the “Aesthet booking fee”). The Practitioner chooses, for their account as a whole, whether this is absorbed by the Practitioner or passed on to the patient. The Platform additionally charges a monthly platform fee (currently £15/month), which may be waived for an initial period depending on when the Practitioner joined. The Platform aims to keep the subscription price and the Aesthet booking fee lower than market rate, subject to its own business costs. The Platform maintains the right to change fees in the event of a change of circumstance, and will notify Practitioners and clinics of any such change in advance.

Patient payments are processed through Stripe. A patient's card is authorised when they request a booking and only captured once the Practitioner confirms it. The Practitioner's share is paid out to their connected bank account via Stripe Connect, which the Practitioner must set up before they can accept bookings. The Platform maintains the right to switch to a different, cheaper payments processor at its discretion.

The Practitioner agrees not to list prices on the Platform that are higher than their own website's price or their standard in-person booking rate for the same service, given that the Practitioner is able to choose whether to absorb or pass on the Aesthet booking fee. Breaching this will lead to an automatic price reduction on the Practitioner's Aesthet profile. Repeated breaches will lead to suspension.

If a patient cancels within 12 hours of their appointment, the Practitioner retains a £20 fee from the amount already authorised, less the Aesthet booking fee. If a patient doesn't show up, the Practitioner retains 40% of the price, less the Aesthet booking fee. If a patient attends but the Practitioner doesn't proceed with treatment, the Practitioner retains a £25 consultation fee, less the Aesthet booking fee. If, during an appointment, the Practitioner determines the patient needs a different service at a different price than originally booked, both the Practitioner and the patient must approve the updated charge through the Platform before it is charged. The Practitioner may never charge a patient hidden fees or charge extra for unagreed service changes.

Reviews may only be left by patients with a verified, completed booking. The Practitioner may not solicit, incentivise, or pay for reviews, and may not attempt to have genuine negative reviews removed except where they breach the Platform's separate content standards.

If the Practitioner is affiliated with a clinic on the Platform, the Practitioner remains individually responsible for their own conduct, insurance, and registration regardless of that affiliation.

The Platform may suspend or remove a Practitioner's listing at any time if it reasonably believes the Practitioner has breached these terms, misrepresented their credentials, or put patient safety at risk.

The Platform is a booking marketplace. It is not a healthcare provider, does not supervise the Practitioner's clinical practice, and is not responsible or liable for the outcome of any treatment provided by the Practitioner.

The Platform may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
